“Finished Objects was born during a train journey from Stockholm to Copenhagen while Erika was in-between career opportunities. Initially, she created crocheted bucket hats for herself, and as the hours passed, she found herself with a collection of curious headwear.

Driven by her passion for textiles, she began experimenting with alternative materials such as Paracord, which proved to be remarkably durable and long-lasting. As a textile engineer, she was naturally drawn to premium fibres and materials, which led her to continue exploring new shapes and forms.

While she never intended to start a brand, the hobby quickly caught the attention of those around her, and before long, the collection had grown in size and popularity. With a growing fan base and a desire to create a cohesive brand image, she decided to give her creations a name that mirrored their quality and craftsmanship – Finished Objects.
